Olathe Republican Party Monthly Meeting
The monthly meeting of the Olathe Republican Party will be held on Monday February 1st at the Black Bear Diner at 7:00pm. Dinner is at 6:30pm.
The Olathe Republican Party is excited to announce that Mackenzie Martin-Fisk from Americans for Prosperity – Kansas will be our special guest speaker in February. Mackenzie Fisk demonstrated an interest in politics at a young age, an interest which has led her to work at three state Capitols. Fisk took an insatiable appetite for politics and government to the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, where she received a degree in Political Science with a minor in History.
Fisk began her work in government in earnest with a move to Lincoln, the capital city of Nebraska. Fisk had worked at the Missouri Capitol during her time in college, but after the move to Lincoln, she shifted to a non-profit, becoming Operations Manager of The Hope Venture, a charity that served overseas needs, primarily in India and parts of Africa. She left The Hope Venture to move back into governmental work, when she began work as a Legislative Assistant with the Nebraska Unicameral, working for three Nebraska State Senators, focusing on legislative research, drafting legislation, and working to guide proposals through the legislative process on to the governor’s desk and into law. Fisk is now the Grassroots Engagement Director for Americans for Prosperity-Kansas.
The Black Bear Diner is located at 11981 S. Strang Line Rd. Olathe, KS 66062. Meals at this event are self pay.
