Maria Holiday

A Johnson County business owner since 1997, Maria owned and operated a preschool for 20 years and currently owns the real estate group, Holiday Homes KC at Keller Williams. Maria has been involved with the Johnson County Republican Party for more than two decades, beginning with her work on strengthening Kansas child protection laws. She has worked on local and statewide campaigns, chaired the KRA, and served as Secretary of the 3rd District. She is a graduate of the 2007 Eisenhower Women in Leadership Series and the Leadership Institute. As this year’s candidate for Johnson County’s 4th District Commissioner, Maria came within 3% of unseating the incumbent. She is committed to unifying and building the Republican Party in Johnson County through effective organization, coalitions, and community outreach. Maria lives with her husband, Doc and their faithful mutt, Ebony. They have 3 grown children and 4 granddaughters.
Raised in the KC metro area, where he attended Rockhurst High School, Patrick M. Erwin (Marty) earned a BS from the University of Nebraska and JD from Washington University in St. Louis. Marty is the President of Skyward Land Services, Inc. which provides land development services to the wireless industry. He and his wife, Christina, have two children, Ethan and Caroline, and are active in their parish and school. An Eagle Scout himself, Marty currently volunteers as the Charter Organization Representative for Troop 396. Marty and Christina were happy to actively support Mike Czinege and Maria Holiday’s recent campaigns. He currently serves as a Precinct Committeeman.
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Andrea’s family moved to Missouri when she was nine years old. A proud mother of three sons and grandmother of three, Andrea has been a resident of Johnson County, Kansas, since January 2011. Her work experience includes administrative support, HR data entry, sales force support (training, quarterly sample reconciliations, problem solving), finance and office administration, contract database SME, and contract auditing.
Andrea has been a registered Republican since 1984, casting her first vote for Ronald Reagan. She is an active member of Kansas First Alliance, a grassroots Republican organization that works for conservative candidates. Andrea is an editor for local political writers and has planned and organized political events. Andrea and her husband, John, are Precinct Committee persons in Olathe who have walked and placed signs for numerous Republican candidates.
Amy was born and raised in Johnson County. During the Obama Administration, she started questioning Democratic policy and now considers herself an “eyes wide open” Republican. Her research led her to realize the Democratic platform did not align with her beliefs and core values. She has since been involved with several Republican campaigns, donating, hosting fundraisers, walking precincts, and making phone calls.
Amy has been an area Senior Mortgage Banker for 21 years. She has been with her current employer for 16 years and is licensed in all 50 states. Her experience will make her a valuable asset to the JCRP as Treasurer. Amy lives in Lenexa with her dog, Axel, and (currently) three foster dogs. In addition to her work with area animal shelters, Amy also volunteers in children’s ministry at her church. She is excited to serve her community in another area she is passionate about: turning Johnson County red again!
